UP TGT Recruitment Exam Conducted Peacefully Across 36 Districts

In Uttar Pradesh, the written examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) for the recruitment of 3,539 Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) posts was completed peacefully, transparently, and in a cheating-free environment on the first day.
 
Artificial Intelligence was used to monitor the examination, which was conducted across 36 districts of the state. Over 8 lakh 68 thousand candidates applied for the examination. The exam is being conducted over two days, today and tomorrow, in two shifts each day.
 
UPESSC Chairman Dr. Prashant Kumar stated that the first-shift examination was held for the subjects of Social Science, Physical Education, Science, and Urdu, while the second-shift examination was conducted for Hindi, Mathematics, Agriculture, and Vocal Music. The first-shift examination was held at 514 examination centres across the state, whereas the second-shift examination was conducted at 508 examination centres.
 
Dr. Prashant Kumar further informed that, to ensure the integrity and transparency of the examination, all examination centres were continuously monitored from the AI-integrated Control and Command Room established at the Commission headquarters. 
 
In the presence of Commission members, the Secretary, the Controller of Examinations, and other senior officials, candidates’ activities were continuously monitored through AI-enabled cameras.
