UP: Police Constable aspirants to get concessional bus rides to examination centres 

 
Giving big relief to the aspirants of the police constable exam in Uttar Pradesh, the state government has decided to provide bus ride on concession rates to their examination centre. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave instructions to the concerned officials regarding this in a review meeting. 
The recruitment examination for Civil Police Constable and equivalent posts would be conducted on June 08, 09 and 10 in two shifts each day. Around 29 lakh candidates are expected to appear in the examination. 
The Chief Minister gave clear instructions that not a single candidate should have to stand in the sun and all basic facilities should be made available at examination centres. He said, for the convenience of candidates, the transport Department should operate inter-district special buses at concessional fares. Along with this, uninterrupted electricity supply and alternative power arrangements should also be ensured at all examination centres.
The Chief Minister also directed that a rehearsal of the examination arrangements be conducted on June 06.
The Chief Minister said that during the examination period, some anti-social elements may try to spread rumours or circulate misleading information through social media. He directed officials to keep a close watch on such activities and ensure strict action against those found responsible.
