The Union Minister of State for AYUSH and Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Prataprao Jadhav, arrived in Imphal today on his one-day visit to Manipur.
He attended Ganesh Puja celebration in Imphal. Addressing the gathering, he said that the festival was not only a religious occasion but also an opportunity to promote social harmony, cultural exchange and unity.
He also highlighted Manipur’s rich biodiversity and medicinal plants and said that their scientific cultivation, conservation and development could create employment and self-employment opportunities for youth, farmers, women and entrepreneurs.
