The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and Telangana during the day. Madhya Maharashtra, Odisha, East Rajasthan, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Marathwada, Telangana and Vidarbha are expected to experience thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds. The Met Department said that similar conditions are expected over Chhattisgarh and other northeastern regions for the day. While in Delhi, the Met Department has forecast partly cloudy sky conditions today and clear skies for the next two days.
