The Minister added that during Parliament sessions, she would be present from early morning till late at night, tirelessly following the proceedings and doing her work with remarkable dedication. He extended condolences to her family and friends in this difficult hour and wished the god to provide them strength to bear this irreparable loss.

Senior journalist Payal Mehta passed away in Mumbai early this morning. She was 46. Ms Mehta, who was visiting the city, rushed to a hospital after experiencing sudden uneasiness early in the morning, where she later breathed her last.
