Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the new office of the National Urban Co-operative Finance and Development Corporation Limited (NUCFDC) today in Mumbai. The Home Minister will also interact with representatives of State Urban Cooperative Bank Federations and district associations of Maharashtra. During the programme, a Memorandum of Understanding will be exchanged between NUCFDC and the National Forensic Sciences University.

The collaboration will play an important role in strengthening cybersecurity, technological capabilities, and institutional capacity in the Urban Cooperative Banking sector. Mr Shah will later attend the BSE International Convention Centre, alongside Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. He will also inaugurate a Security Operations Centre (SOC) to strengthen the cybersecurity of Urban Cooperative Banks.
