Samajwadi Party candidates Professor Ram Gopal Yadav and Dhanraj Parimal Nathwani filed their nomination papers in Lucknow for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections from Uttar Pradesh. Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav accompanied the two candidates during the submission of papers.
Polling for 10 Rajya Sabha seats from Uttar Pradesh is scheduled to be held on 16th of October. The last date for filing of nominations is 6th of October.
