A delegation of 50 women entrepreneurs from Maharashtra is participating in Namaste Bharat 2026 in Singapore. This is an exhibition of Indian products to promote handicrafts, textiles, jewellery, traditional food and millet-based products.
The Indian High Commissioner to Singapore Shilpak Ambule welcomed the entrepreneurs, saying that Singapore offers opportunities for promoting Indian products across the wider Asian market. He highlighted efforts by India and Singapore to strengthen trade networks with states across India, including regions beyond major metropolitan centres. The exhibition, being held from 22nd to 25th October, is expected to attract more than 10 thousand visitors and features around 150 exhibitors from India.
