आज शिक्षक दिवस है… यानी उस गुरु को सलाम करने का दिन, जिसने हमें सिर्फ किताबें नहीं पढ़ाईं, बल्कि जिंदगी को पढ़ना सिखाया!” यही वो पहला शख्स था जिसने बताया की ये दुनिया कैसे है और हम यहाँ क्या सीखना है। फिर चाहे वो माँ ही क्यों न जो हमारी पहली शिक्षक है।

हर वर्ष 5 सितंबर को हम शिक्षक दिवस मनाते हैं। यह दिन भारत के महान दार्शनिक, शिक्षाविद् और देश के पूर्व राष्ट्रपति डॉ. सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्णन की जयंती के रूप में मनाया जाता है।
लेकिन शिक्षक दिवस केवल शुभकामनाएँ देने, फूल देने या शिक्षकों का सम्मान करने का दिन नहीं है।
यह उस रिश्ते को याद करने का दिन है…
जिसने हमारे व्यक्तित्व को आकार दिया।
याद कीजिए…
वह शिक्षक, जिन्होंने हमारी छोटी-सी उपलब्धि पर भी हमारा हौसला बढ़ाया था।
वह शिक्षक, जिन्होंने हमारी गलतियों पर हमें डाँटा जरूर…
लेकिन उन गलतियों से सीखना भी सिखाया।
वह शिक्षक, जिन्होंने शायद हमसे कहा हो—
“तुम कर सकते हो।”
और कभी-कभी… किसी विद्यार्थी के लिए ये चार शब्द ही उसकी पूरी दुनिया बदलने के लिए काफी होते हैं।
अर्थात् ज्ञान का एक भाग गुरु से मिलता है,
एक भाग अपनी बुद्धि और प्रयास से,
एक भाग अपने सहपाठियों से,
और शेष समय तथा अनुभव के साथ प्राप्त होता है।
आज शिक्षक दिवस के अवसर पर उन सभी शिक्षकों को नमन…
जिन्होंने हमारे भीतर ज्ञान का दीप जलाया,

शिक्षक दिवस के अवसर पर राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मु ने शिक्षकों से अपने ज्ञान को लगातार बढ़ाने, नई तकनीक अपनाने और पढ़ाने के नए तरीकों का इस्तेमाल करने का आह्वान किया है। राष्ट्रपति ने कहा कि शिक्षक विद्यार्थियों की प्रतिभा को निखारने और उनके चरित्र निर्माण में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं। उन्होंने शिक्षकों से विद्यार्थियों में स्वतंत्र सोच और जिज्ञासा की भावना विकसित करने का आग्रह किया। राष्ट्रपति ने सभी समर्पित शिक्षकों के योगदान के लिए आभार व्यक्त किया और कहा कि वे ऐसी पीढ़ियों का निर्माण करते रहें, जो देश को नई ऊंचाइयों तक ले जाएं। उन्होंने पूर्व राष्ट्रपति और शिक्षाविद् डॉ. सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्णन को श्रद्धांजलि देते हुए उन्हें महान शिक्षक बताया। शिक्षक दिवस हर वर्ष 5 सितंबर को डॉ. राधाकृष्णन की जयंती के अवसर पर मनाया जाता है। इस अवसर पर राष्ट्रपति आज नई दिल्ली में 48 स्कूली शिक्षकों को राष्ट्रीय शिक्षक पुरस्कार प्रदान करेंगी। ये शिक्षक 27 राज्यों, सात केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों और छह केंद्रीय सरकारी संस्थानों से चुने गए हैं। इसके अलावा, उच्च शिक्षा संस्थानों और पॉलिटेक्निक के 21 शिक्षकों और प्राध्यापकों को भी राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार दिए जाएंगे।

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released admit cards for candidates appearing for UGC-NET June 2026 in English, Commerce and Sociology on the 9th and 10th of this month. Candidates can download their admit cards from ugcnet.ta.nic.in using their login credentials. The NTA announced re-test for three papers of the UGC-NET examination, English, Commerce and Sociology following complaints about several errors in these papers. The English paper will be held on 9th September from 9 AM to 12 noon in Shift 1, while the Commerce paper will be conducted the same day from 3 PM to 6 PM in Shift 2. The Sociology paper will be held on 10th September from 9 AM to 12 noon in Shift 1.

The External Affairs Ministry has said, three more Indian nationals including a five-year-old child, have been rescued from the flood-hit Trishuli Bazaar area of Nepal, bringing the total count of Indian evacuees to 169.
Sharing broader updates on the safety of Indian nationals while briefing media in New Delhi yesterday, MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, 275 Indian nationals remain missing. He noted that 1,907 Indians have safely crossed over to Nepal from China. Mr Jaiswal said that the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu is facilitating the return of Indian evacuees on flights back home. He said, there are no Indian travelers who are stranded in the Tibetan Autonomous Region. The spokesperson said India has supplied around 95 tonnes of relief material to Nepal since the devastating flash floods hit the country on 26th of last month. The MEA spokesperson said India will continue to provide assistance to Nepal as per the requirements of the government in that country.

The World Archery Para Series 2026 begins at Ahmedabad in Gujarat, today. The event brings together 105 athletes from 19 countries. It is the first time India is hosting the World Archery Para Series. The third stage of the series is being held at the Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad and will continue till 9th of this month.
Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah virtually inaugurated the event last evening.

ब्रिक्स शिखर सम्मेलन की तैयारियों के अंतर्गत आज नई दिल्ली में मोटर कारकेड का पूर्वाभ्यास किया जाएगा। दिल्ली यातायात पुलिस के अनुसार, पूर्वाभ्यास सुबह 10 बजे से शाम 4 बजे तक चलेगा। इस दौरान भारत मंडपम और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में 35 से अधिक सड़कों पर यातायात नियंत्रित किया जाएगा और 22 स्थानों पर मार्ग परिवर्तित किए जाएंगे। उन्होंने बताया कि इस दौरान सरदार पटेल मार्ग, मदर टेरेसा क्रिसेंट, अकबर रोड, मथुरा रोड, लोदी रोड, अशोक रोड, रिंग रोड सहित कई प्रमुख मार्ग प्रभावित रहेंगे। यातायात पुलिस ने रेलवे स्टेशन और हवाई अड्डे जाने वाले यात्रियों को अतिरिक्त समय लेकर चलने और वैकल्पिक मार्ग अपनाने की सलाह दी है। यातायात पुलिस ने लोगों से सार्वजनिक परिवहन, विशेषकर मेट्रो सेवा का उपयोग करने और वाहन चालकों से निर्धारित स्थानों पर ही पार्किंग करने तथा मौके पर तैनात यातायात पुलिसकर्मियों के निर्देशों का पालन करने की अपील की है।

दिल्ली के मुख्य चुनाव अधिकारी कार्यालय ने कहा है कि जो मतदाता 30 जून से 17 अगस्त के बीच गणना प्रपत्र जमा नहीं कर पाए हैं, वे 30 सितंबर तक फॉर्म-6 और निर्धारित घोषणा पत्र जमा कर सकते हैं। फॉर्म-6 के जरिए अंतिम मतदाता सूची में नाम शामिल कराने का अनुरोध किया जा सकता है। अंतिम मतदाता सूची 4 नवंबर को प्रकाशित होगी।

The Centre will focus on advanced frugal engineering, harsh environment optics, robotics and fluid dynamics while promoting interdisciplinary research with real world industrial applications. The hub will foster collaboration to advance research, validate new ideas and translate them into scalable solutions. केंद्रीय वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने जानकारी दी है कि यूरोपीय संघ-भारत मुक्त व्यापार समझौता जनवरी से मार्च 2027 के बीच लागू हो जाएगा। मुंबई में भारत-बेल्जियम उच्च स्तरीय वार्ता के दौरान पत्रकारों से बातचीत में गोयल ने कहा कि भारत और यूरोप, भारत के जनसांख्यिकीय लाभ और यूरोप की प्रौद्योगिकी एवं पूंजी का उपयोग करके एक-दूसरे के लिए प्रेरक शक्ति बन सकते हैं।

महाराष्ट्र के परिवहन मंत्री प्रताप सरनाइक ने 5 अक्टूबर तक सभी अनाधिकृत और रद्द किए गए ऑटो रिक्शाओं को सड़कों से हटाने के लिए एक विशेष अभियान चलाने का आदेश दिया है। सड़क पर चलने योग्य न होने के बावजूद ऑटो रिक्शाओं के इस्तेमाल से संबंधित शिकायतों का गंभीर संज्ञान लेते हुए, श्री सरनाइक ने शुक्रवार को मुंबई में एक विशेष बैठक की, जिसमें परिवहन आयुक्त राजेश नार्वेकर, रिक्शा-टैक्सी यूनियन के नेता शशांक राव और विभिन्न रिक्शा संघों के पदाधिकारी उपस्थित थे।

Karnataka Government has signed an MoU with Australia-based INQ Innovation Global Pty Ltd to strengthen technology, startup, research and investment ties with New South Wales.
The partnership will help Karnataka startups access Australian markets, investors and industry networks, with focus on DeepTech, AI, biotechnology, clean technology, quantum computing, defence and aerospace.
Minister Priyank Kharge said the initiative would connect Karnataka’s innovation ecosystem with global markets and expertise. The two sides will also explore startup cohorts, market immersion, investor engagement and joint research.

जन स्वास्थ्य संरक्षण की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठाते हुए, राज्य सरकार ने पूरे राज्य में एक विशेष खाद्य सुरक्षा अभियान शुरू किया है। मुख्यमंत्री कार्यालय के सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट के अनुसार, अधिकारियों ने 1 सितंबर से शुरू हुए इस एक सप्ताह के अभियान के पहले तीन दिनों में 2,337 प्रतिष्ठानों (होटल और रेस्तरां सहित) का निरीक्षण किया और 1,277 नमूने एकत्र किए। जांच के बाद, खाद्य तैयारी नियमों का पालन न करने के कारण 17 प्रतिष्ठानों को सील कर दिया गया या बंद कर दिया गया। यह विशेष निगरानी अभियान 7 सितंबर तक जारी रहेगा।

The Bengaluru Traffic Police yesterday enforced a ban on two-wheelers on the expressway to Kempegowda International Airport, along with restrictions on three other major flyovers.
The restrictions cover the International Airport Road Elevated Corridor, BGS flyover, Peenya Elevated Corridor and the Silk Board-Ragigudda double-decker flyover. The measures are aimed at improving road safety and traffic flow and will be monitored through CCTV cameras.
Two-wheelers will also be banned on the Electronic City flyover from September 11.

सबसे पहले याद करते हैं मदर टेरेसा का, जिनका निधन 5 सितंबर 1997 को हुआ था। मानव सेवा को अपना जीवन समर्पित करने वाली मदर टेरेसा ने अपना पूरा जीवन गरीबों, असहायों और बीमारों की सेवा में लगा दिया। उनके लिए मानवता ही सबसे बड़ा धर्म थी। उनकी सेवा भावना को दुनिया ने सम्मान दिया और उन्हें नोबेल शांति पुरस्कार तथा भारत का सर्वोच्च नागरिक सम्मान भारत रत्न प्रदान किया गया। 5 सितंबर उनके निधन की तारीख ही नहीं, बल्कि सेवा और करुणा की उस मिसाल को याद करने का दिन भी है, जो आज भी दुनिया को प्रेरित करती है।
Mother Teresa and honoured in the Catholic Church as Saint Teresa of Calcutta, was an Albanian-Indian Roman Catholic nun and missionary. In 1950, Teresa founded the Missionaries of Charity, a Roman Catholic religious congregation that had over 4,500 nuns and was active in 133 countries in 2012. Teresa received a number of honors, including the 1962 Ramon Magsaysay Peace Prize and 1979 Nobel Peace Prize.

और अब स्मरण उस व्यक्तित्व का, जिसका नाम भारतीय औद्योगिक इतिहास में हमेशा सम्मान के साथ लिया जाएगा-रतनजी टाटा। 5 सितंबर 1918 को उनका निधन हुआ।
वे जमशेदजी टाटा के निकट सहयोगियों में रहे और शुरुआती दौर में टाटा समूह को संगठित एवं मजबूत करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई। आज जिस टाटा समूह को हम एक विशाल औद्योगिक विरासत के रूप में देखते हैं, उसकी नींव मजबूत करने वालों में रतनजी टाटा का भी महत्वपूर्ण योगदान रहा।
Neerja Bhanot (7 September 1963 – 5 September 1986) was an Indian flight attendant. On 5 September 1986, she saved a large number of passengers on board Pan Am Flight 73, which had been hijacked by four Palestinian terrorists from the Abu Nidal Organization after it made a stopover at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, Pakistan. Around 17 hours into the standoff, after she opened an emergency exit door and began helping passengers escape from the plane, Neerja was shot and killed by the hijackers. Shortly afterward, Pakistan’s Special Service Group stormed the aircraft and captured all of the hijackers. Posthumously, Bhanot became the first female recipient and, until 2003, the youngest recipient of the Ashoka Chakra, the highest peacetime gallantry award of India. She also received the Tamgha-e-Pakistan, the 4th highest civilian award of Pakistan, in addition to several accolades from the United States. Her life and humanitarian actions inspired the 2016 Indian Hindi-language biographical film Neerja, directed by Ram Madhvani and starring actress Sonam Kapoor.

जिनका जन्म पंकज त्रिपाठी, के रूप में 5 सितंबर 1976 को हुआ था, एक भारतीय अभिनेता हैं जो मुख्य रूप से हिंदी फिल्मों और धारावाहिकों में काम करते हैं। उन्हें दो राष्ट्रीय फिल्म पुरस्कार और एक फिल्मफेयर पुरस्कार प्राप्त हुए हैं। नेशनल स्कूल ऑफ ड्रामा में अभिनय की पढ़ाई करने के बाद, त्रिपाठी ने ओमकारा (2006) और अग्निपथ (2012) जैसी फिल्मों में छोटी भूमिकाएँ निभाईं और टेलीविजन धारावाहिक पाउडर (2010) में सहायक भूमिका निभाई।
He debuted in 2004 with a minor role in Run and Omkara and has since worked in more than 40 films and 60 television shows. Tripathi’s breakthrough came in 2012 for his supporting role in the Gangs of Wasseypur film series. He has since received critical appraisal for multiple films, including Fukrey (2013), Masaan (2015), Nil Battey Sannata (2016), Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017), Newton (2017), Fukrey Returns (2017) and Stree (2018). For Newton, Tripathi earned several awards including a National Film Award – Special Mention.

5 सितंबर 1995 को उनका निधन हुआ। वे केवल संगीतकार नहीं थे-वे एक अद्भुत संगीतकार, गीतकार, कहानीकार और संगीत की विभिन्न परंपराओं को जोड़ने वाले कलाकार थे। उनके संगीत में भारतीय लोकधुनों के साथ-साथ पश्चिमी संगीत की जटिलता का अद्भुत मेल दिखाई देता था।
कुछ धुनें कानों से होकर दिल तक पहुँचती हैं… और कुछ धुनें ऐसी होती हैं, जिन्हें सुनते ही लगता है-
अरे! ये तो हमारी अपनी जिंदगी की कहानी है।
जिनकी धुनों में कभी बारिश थी, कभी पहाड़ थे, कभी प्रेम था… और कभी आम आदमी का दर्द। सलिल दा सिर्फ संगीतकार नहीं थे।
वो कहानी लिखते थे, कविता लिखते थे, संगीत रचते थे… और सबसे बड़ी बात- वो धुन में कहानी कह देते थे।
बारिश की बूंदें हों… खिड़की के बाहर ठंडी हवा हो… और कानों में लता मंगेशकर की आवाज़-
“ओ सजना, बरखा बहार आई…”
तो फिर सलिल दा को याद करना अपने आप हो जाता है।
एक दिलचस्प किस्सा भी है। सलिल दा की कहानी “रिक्शावाला” ने आगे चलकर बिमल रॉय की मशहूर फिल्म “दो बीघा ज़मीन” का रूप लिया। वही कहानी आगे चलकर भारतीय सिनेमा की यादगार फिल्मों में से एक बनी। और यही सलिल दा की खासियत थी-
In an interview with All India Radio, Salil Chowdhury described his coming to Bombay in 1953 as a “stroke of luck”. He was writing the script for a Bengali film about a peasant who was disowned of his land and had gone to Calcutta to earn money as a Rickshaw puller. Hrishikesh Mukherjee, who heard of it from Chowdhury during a visit to Calcutta, liked it immensely and suggested that he narrate it to the director Bimal Roy. Roy heard it, and asked him to meet him again the next morning. However, when Chowdhury went to meet him the next day, he learnt that Roy had rushed to Bombay on an urgent call. A week later, he received a telegram from Roy that he wanted to turn his script into a movie. This resulted in Chowdhury’s debut in the Hindi film industry in 1953 as the music director for Do Bigha Zamin (1953). The movie was based on Tagore’s poem by the same name, but the story was different and was written by Salil Chowdhury himself. Directed by Bimal Roy, this film took his career to new heights when it became the first film to win the Filmfare Best Movie Award and won the international Prize at the Cannes Film Festival. After working for about 20 years in Bengali and Hindi films, he entered the Malayalam film industry and, in 1964, composed music for the movie Chemmeen. He went on to compose music for films in 13 languages.
उनकी धुनें भी कहानी कहती थीं। यही वजह है कि सलिल चौधरी का संगीत सुनते हुए हमें सिर्फ सुर नहीं सुनाई देते… हमें जिंदगी सुनाई देती है। और फिर… प्रेम!
सलिल दा ने गंभीर सामाजिक विषयों से लेकर प्रेम और प्रकृति तक हर रंग को संगीत दिया।
उनकी धुनों में एक खास बात थी- सादगी के भीतर छिपी जटिलता।
ऊपर से गीत बेहद आसान लगता है… लेकिन संगीत को ध्यान से सुनिए तो पीछे कई सुर एक साथ चलते मिलेंगे। यही उनका musical magic था।
फिल्म छोटी सी बात का यह गीत… हल्की-सी मुस्कान देता है, दिल में रोमांस जगाता है और फिर चुपचाप यादों में बस जाता है। यही सलिल दा का कमाल था-
बिना शोर किए दिल पर असर करना। और अब आखिरी बात…
सलिल दा की सबसे बड़ी खूबी शायद यही थी कि उन्होंने संगीत को कभी एक कमरे में बंद नहीं किया।
बंगाल का लोक संगीत… भारतीय शास्त्रीय परंपरा…
पश्चिमी classical harmony… और आम आदमी की जिंदगी- इन सबको मिलाकर उन्होंने अपनी अलग संगीत भाषा बनाई। और शायद इसीलिए उनकी धुनें आज भी पुरानी नहीं लगतीं।
