HM Amit Shah laid foundation stone of  Taj Pushpabanta Palace Hotel in Agartala 

Union Home Minister Amit Shah formally laid the foundation stone to convert the historic 1917 Pushpabanta Palace into the luxury Taj Pushpabanta Palace Hotel in Kunjaban, Agartala. Operating alongside Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and royal scion Pradyot Bikram Manikya, the Home Minister solemnized the launch through traditional Vedic bhumi pujan rituals before unveiling the multi-lingual commemorative plaque inscribed in Kokborok, Bengali, Hindi, and English. Developed by the Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), the upcoming 7.78-acre five-star heritage destination will feature 100 premium rooms and a major convention center, heavily boosting international tourism and local youth employment across the Northeast.
