Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has called upon government employees to play an important role in delivering services to the poor and ensuring effective administration.
Addressing a gathering in Karimnagar today, Mr. Reddy said the success and reputation of any government depends on the dedication and cooperation of its employees. The Chief Minister said he would continue to meet the Prime Minister and Union Ministers to pursue issues concerning Telangana.
The Chief Minister said continued engagement with the Centre had yielded results, including the transfer of 170 acres of defence land for state development within six months. He also said the Centre had granted permission for the construction of a road passing beneath the Begumpet airport runway in Hyderabad.
On the occasion, Mr. Reddy inaugurated the new district Collectorate building and several development projects in Karimnagar along with Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar, and also held his first review meeting there.
Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar said Telangana is witnessing significant development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mr. Sanjay Kumar also said Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Karimnagar on the fourth of October.
