The Government has refuted claims circulating on social media where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is promoting an investment platform, guaranteeing citizens a monthly income of 25 lakh rupees on an initial investment of 22 thousand rupees. The Fact Check Unit of the Press Information Bureau has said the video is fake and AI-generated. It said the prime minister has not endorsed any such investment scheme or platform. It has also advised citizens to beware of phishing scams that could lead to financial losses and avoid clicking any suspicious links or sharing OTPs with unknown people.
