BJP alleges that Rajasthan has topped in the case of women's atrocities

BJP today asserted that Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has no right to remain in his post and alleged that the State has topped in the case of women atrocities. Briefing media in New Delhi, Member of Parliament from Bharatpur in Rajasthan Ranjeeta Koli said, Rajasthan has been known for its tradition of respect for women but now the Government led by Gehlot has tarnished the image of Rajasthan.

Member of Parliament from Rajsamand in Rajasthan Diya Kumari slammed the Congress government in the State and cited several recent cases of sexual assault and killing of women. She said, on the 28th of July, 21 criminal incidents took place in Rajasthan in a single day. Taking a swipe at Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, she said, Vadra goes on vacation to Ranthambore in Rajasthan but never meets the families of women victims. Quoting National Crime Records Bureau data, Diya Kumari claimed that Rajasthan ranked number one in crime against women.
