Union Ministers G. Kishan Reddy and L. Murugan today offered prayers at the Sri Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to the media, Mr. Kishan Reddy said the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams is making effective arrangements for the annual Brahmotsavams. He said he prayed to Lord Venkateswara for abundant rainfall and prosperity in the country, amid prevailing rainfall-deficit conditions attributed to the El Niño effect.
Mr. L. Murugan said he prayed for the blessings of Lord Venkateswara for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has completed 25 years in public service. He prayed that the Prime Minister be blessed with the strength to continue serving the people and to contribute towards taking India to a leading position in the world.
