West Bengal is celebrating the birth centenary of legendary Bengali actor Uttam Kumar. The government of West Bengal is celebrating the occasion with orgnizing various programmes. Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari will participate in a bhumi pujan event of the Uttam Kumar Film Centre at New Town, Kolkata tomorrow. Known as Mahanayak, Uttam Kumar acted in more than 200 films. He was born on 3rd September 1926 in Kolkata.
