Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan has inaugurated the newly installed façade lighting system at Uprashtrapati Bhavan. The new lighting system is powered by grid-connected solar energy, reflecting the adoption of renewable energy in public infrastructure. The inauguration comes after the Vice-President highlighted India’s achievements in the renewable energy sector while addressing the valedictory session of the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit and Expo 2026 in New Delhi on Thursday.
