The Union Public Service Commission today inaugurated a new office at the Talkatora Annexe Building in the national capital to meet its growing administrative and functional requirements. UPSC Chairman Dr Ajay Kumar, along with Members of the Commission, inaugurated the facility. The new office has been set up to address space constraints and to strengthen the Commission’s administrative infrastructure in view of its expanding responsibilities.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Kumar noted that UPSC’s role has grown significantly over the years, necessitating additional infrastructure to support its increasing workload. He said certain offices are being shifted to the Talkatora Annexe Building on an interim basis. This arrangement will continue until permanent facilities are developed at Dholpur House.
