The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange colour warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall over East Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Madhya Pradesh for the day. Heavy Rainfall is also expected over Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Vidarbha, Assam and Meghalaya till tomorrow.

The Met Department also said that thunderstorms and lightning conditions will continue over Jammu-Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, and Andhra Pradesh till tomorrow. Similar weather conditions are expected over Odisha, Puducherry, Rayalaseema, Telangana, Gujarat, parts of North East India, Lakshadweep, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands during the next two days. Furthermore, the Weather Agency has forecast a spell of light rainfall at many places of Delhi during the evening today.
