Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will inaugurate 7 ESI healthcare projects worth ₹668 crore

Union Minister for Labour and Employment, Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, will inaugurate seven Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) healthcare projects worth around 668 crore rupees across the country on Tuesday. These projects include the new Outpatient Department (OPD) Block at the ESIC Hospital in Sanathnagar, Telangana; the upgraded 200-bed ESIC Hospital at Beltola, Assam; the 100-bed ESIC Hospital at Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu; the ESIS Hospital at Rajamahendravaram, Andhra Pradesh; the ESI Dispensary and Branch Office at Surendranagar, Gujarat; and the ESI Dispensary and Branch Office at Udyog Nagar, Kota, along with the ESI Dispensary at Bhawani Mandi in Rajasthan. 
 
The Ministry of Labour and Employment said Dr Mandaviya will be in Sanathnagar to inaugurate the new OPD Block at the ESIC Hospital, while the remaining six projects will be inaugurated virtually. The Ministry noted that these healthcare facilities will cater to the medical needs of around 53 lakh beneficiaries across the country.
 
On the occasion, Dr Mandaviya will also honour construction workers who contributed to the development of the OPD Block at the ESIC Hospital in Sanathnagar, recognising their role in nation-building. He will also disburse cash benefits to ESI beneficiaries, reaffirming the government’s commitment to workers’ welfare. Minister of State for Labour and Employment Shobha Karandlaje will also attend the event.
