Union Minister Kiren Rijiju calls upon citizens to dedicate themselves to building prosperous, strong and developed India

Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has called upon citizens to dedicate themselves to building a prosperous, strong and developed India. He said this while addressing the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan in New Delhi, on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. Mr Rijiju said that India has witnessed significant changes in infrastructure, connectivity and food security.

The Minister said that India has transformed under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership. He said that remote border areas are now accessible by motor vehicles, while more than 80 crore people are receiving free foodgrains and other essential commodities. Mr Rijiju said that India is emerging as a strong, secure and stable nation. He also highlighted the government’s commitment to making welfare schemes accessible to all sections of society.

The Minister said that the Ministry of Minority Affairs is working to ensure that its schemes reach minority communities with integrity. He emphasised that development initiatives are intended to benefit every Indian, irrespective of caste, community or creed.
