Law and Justice Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal today launched the Fresh Application Module for inviting online applications for Notary Appointments in New Delhi. The module enables eligible legal practitioners and advocates to submit applications online through the Notary Portal.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Meghwal said that the user-friendly module will simplify the application process and enhance ease of access for aspiring Notaries. He said that the launch of the module marks a significant step towards realizing the vision of Digital India by promoting a paperless, transparent and citizen-centric system of governance.
The Law and Justice Ministry informed that the Department of Legal Affairs will invite applications through the module from time to time, based on the requirements under the Notaries Act, 1952 and the Notaries Rules, 1956.
