Union Minister for Women and Child Development Annapurna Devi today emphasised the need to continuously improve service delivery and implement more robust and effective measures to ensure women’s safety and empowerment. She interacted with Centre officials in Tripura.

The Union Minister also visited the sacred Shaktipeeth Tripura Sundari Temple this morning, where she offered prayers and performed puja rituals. She was accompanied by former Union Minister Pratima Bhoumik, Tripura Minister Tinku Roy and other local dignitaries.

Speaking to the media, Annapurna Devi commended the Tripura Government for its excellent and orderly management of the temple premises. Following her temple visit, the Union Minister proceeded to Tepania in Udaipur to inspect the Sakhi One Stop Centre.
