In Mumbai, two persons lost their lives and four others were injured in a fire incident in Vile Parle last night. According to authorities, the fire broke out on the 11th floor of a ground-plus-12-storey building in Vile Parle West.
The incident was reported by the BMC’s Mumbai Fire Brigade Control at around 10 PM. The BMC’s Mumbai Fire Brigade, ambulance and other services were immediately pressed into service.
Six people were injured in the incident. A woman and a child were declared brought dead at the hospital, while the remaining four injured are reported to be in stable condition.
The fire was brought under control at around 12:25 AM. Further investigation is underway.
