Tripura Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Tinku Roy today formally flagged off a State-Level Nasha Mukt Yuva Padyatra in Kailashahar organized under central Government’s MY Bharat initiative.

Addressing the inaugural programme, Minister Tinku Roy said that initiatives are being undertaken across the country to create awareness among people against drug abuse. He added that de-addiction hospitals are being established in different districts of Tripura as part of efforts to combat the growing menace of substance abuse.

MY Bharat Tripura State Director Mehboob Alam Laskar also addressed the gathering.

As part of the programme, participants took a collective pledge against drug abuse, followed by a cultural programme.
