Tripura CM Manik Saha Highlights Role of Youth and Voluntary Service in Nation-Building

Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has stressed the important role of youth and voluntary service in building a healthier and stronger society. The Chief Minister was speaking at a blood donation camp organised by the BJP Yuva Morcha at IGM Hospital in Agartala. Dr. Saha said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given priority to the youth as key partners in nation-building. The camp was organised as part of programmes marking the Prime Minister’s birthday on 17th of this month.
 
 
Dr. Saha also attended the ‘Sanjiboni-3’ blood donation camp organised by the Rotary Club of Aspiring Agartala in collaboration with the BSF at the BSF Frontier Headquarters. In a social media post, the Chief Minister appreciated the initiative and said every drop of donated blood can help save a precious life. 
 
 
At another programme in North Badharghat, the Chief Minister said Tripura’s healthcare system has improved significantly and the number of patients being referred outside the state for advanced treatment has started to decline. He stressed the need to expand organ donation and transplantation facilities, noting that kidney transplantation has already been successfully carried out in the state, while efforts are underway to introduce heart transplantation. Fifty people donated blood at the North Badharghat camp.
