Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said the state government is working towards realising the vision of a Viksit  Bharat and a Viksit Tripura by 2047, inspired by the ideals of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya.

He was speaking at the state-level birth anniversary programme of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, organised by the Information and Cultural Affairs Department at Muktadhara Auditorium in Agartala today.

The Chief Minister said Upadhyaya’s philosophy of Integral Humanism and Antyodaya emphasised the welfare and overall development of the people at the last mile. He said the government is committed to ensuring that the benefits of development reach every section of society without discrimination.

Dr Saha also urged citizens to work collectively for Tripura’s progress through mutual cooperation, understanding and a shared commitment to development.

Mayor Dipak Majumder, MLA Meena Rani Sarkar, State Cultural Advisory Committee Chairman Subrata Chakraborty and ICA Director Bimbisar Bhattacharya were among those present. Meanwhile, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s birth anniversary is being observed across the state with due respect and solemnity.
