Telangana CEO directs officials to fix errors in voter enumeration forms

Telangana’s Chief Electoral Officer, C. Sudarshan Reddy, has directed officials to fix errors in voter enumeration forms as part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision process. He asked them to correct missing photos, wrong birth dates, gender mistakes, and signature errors to ensure accurate voter data.

During a video conference with Additional CEO Dr. Vasam Venkateswara Reddy, he reviewed polling station rationalisation and digitisation progress. He instructed officials to carefully re-examine cases of absent, shifted, dead, and duplicate voters, along with unmapped cases, to make sure no eligible voter is wrongly removed from the list.

He called for stronger field verification by booth level officers and supervisors and asked for disciplinary action against negligence. Special priority was ordered for voters aged 85 and above, and for keeping family members in the same polling station. Senior election officials from across the state attended the meeting.
