In Tamil Nadu, the Kanyakumari Police has expanded the AI traffic violation detection system in ten locations in the District. Named as ” Kaaval AI” this initiative is to ensure zero accidents in Kanyakumari. The system includes the installation of AI cameras at four locations to the roundabout to monitor traffic violations with high accuracy. Dr.R.Stalin, the District Superintendent of Police, said that the system will display the registration numbers of the vehicles of the violators on a digital screen, thereby automatically sharing the penalties according to the nature of the offence.
