Government records substantial growth in scholarship coverage for SC students

The Government recorded substantial growth in the coverage and delivery of scholarship benefits to eligible Scheduled Caste (SC) students during the current financial year.   The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment said that under the Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC Students, the centre released more than 6 thousand 208 crore rupees reaching over 47 lakh students.
