The Supreme Court has sought responses from the Centre and the National Medical Commission on a plea seeking greater transparency in the answer key and response disclosure process for NEET-PG 2026.
A bench of Justices P S Narasimha and Alok Aradhe issued notices to the authorities and tagged the petition with pending pleas. The petitioners have sought access to the questions and answer options displayed to each candidate, their recorded responses and the correct answers, saying the existing system does not allow candidates to independently verify their evaluation.
NEET-PG 2026 was conducted on August 30. A supplementary examination was held on September 5 for candidates affected by a technical disruption at an examination centre in Jaipur.
