Congress MP Rahul Gandhi today alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not believe in the idea of constructive opposition.
Talking to reporters on the Parliament premises, Mr Gandhi said Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh had spoken over the phone with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge to support the government for the Speakers post. As per convention, the deputy speaker’s post should be given to the opposition.
