Later in the day, Lakshya Sen will take on China’s Lu Guangzu.
In the Mixed Doubles, the pair of Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto defeated the Malaysian duo of Wong Tien Ci and Lim Chiew Sien 21-14, 20-22, 21-13 in the first round.
