Punjab State Red Cross today dispatched its third and largest consignment of relief material for flood-affected Nepal on humanitarian grounds. Punjab Governor and President, State Red Cross, Gulab Chand Kataria flagged off seven large trucks carrying approximately 52 tons of essential relief supplies from Punjab Lok Bhavan in Chandigarh.

Mr  Kataria said that the material has been procured in accordance with the requirement list shared by the Nepal Red Cross Society. This includes blankets, tarpaulins, solar lights and other emergency relief supplies as well as generator sets. He appreciated Amazon and Donatekart Foundation for generously donating the material.
