President Droupadi Murmu has congratulated Swapnil Kusale on winning the bronze medal at the Paris Olympics. In a social media post, the President said Swapnil Kusale has become the first Indian to win a medal in the men’s 50m rifle 3 positions category. She said it was the first time that India had won three medals in shooting events in the same Olympic Games. The President said the entire shooting contingent has made India proud. She extended her best wishes to all the players for the upcoming events. President Murmu wished Swapnil Kusale for more laurels in the future.
