President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulate ISRO for successful launch of Aditya -L1

President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi today congratulated the scientists and engineers at ISRO for the successful launch of the country's first Solar Mission, Aditya -L1. The President said the launch of Aditya-L1 is a landmark achievement that takes India’s indigenous space programme to a new trajectory. She also said, it will help India better understand space and celestial phenomena.
 
In a social media post, the Prime Minister said, India's tireless scientific efforts will continue to develop a better understanding of the Universe for the welfare of the entire humanity. Mr. Modi added that after the success of Chandrayaan-3, India continues its space journey.

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur said this is again an incredible and inspiring Amrit Kaal moment for India and its space research. He said, for India and its space research, the sky is the limit under the leadership of Mr. Modi. He also said India's extremely dedicated scientists at ISRO have been delivering their best one after another, projecting the country as a top global player in the field of space research.
