Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri will be the chief guest at the 29th Energy Technology Meet (ETM) being organized in Goa from today. The event will go on till October 29 at the ONGC Advanced Training Institute. Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) will co-host the prestigious three-day national event. It also incorporates an R&D Conclave by the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI).

“The theme of the conclave is “Accelerating Energy Innovation: From Research to Commercialisation,”. It aims to bring together over 1,500 domain experts, scientists, and delegates from India and overseas. The discussions will focus on petrochemical technologies, green hydrogen value chains, synthetic aviation fuels, bio-refineries, and carbon capture solutions. The summit comes at a pivotal time as the country accelerates its energy transition roadmap. It aims to serve the Panchamrit action plan to reach net-zero emissions by 2070. The meet will feature technical presentations, panel interactions, digital poster sessions, and product exhibitions aimed at fostering indigenous innovations, enhancing energy security, and driving sustainable refining practices.
