PM Narendra Modi says his Government introduced one rank one pension scheme for armed forces after coming to power in 2014

Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, today said the people of Jammu and Kashmir want peace and a better future for their children. Addressing an election rally in Jammu, he said the huge voting in the last two phases of Assembly Elections is a testimony to this.

 

Mr. Modi said Congress can never respect those who die for the country. It is the same Congress that made our army families yearn for ‘One Rank, One Pension’ for 4 decades. Mr. Modi said that after forming the government in 2014, his government implemented OROP. He said, Till now, army families have received more than 1 lakh 20 thousand crore rupees.

 

Mr. Modi said, recently, we have also revived OROP, due to which army families are sure to get more money. Polling in Jammu and Kashmir in the final phase will be held on Tuesday for the 40 Assembly seats. The Prime Minister recalled that it was on this day in 2016 that India resorted to a surgical strike against Pakistan.
