Prime Minister Narendra Modi today shared an article written by Union Minister for Communications and Development of the North Eastern Region, Jyotiraditya Scindia, highlighting India’s shift in governance from welfare to empowerment. In a social media post, the Prime Minister said that from sanitation and gas connections to healthcare and access to credit, the government’s focus is on last-mile delivery and creating opportunities for people to improve their lives. The Prime Minister added that this approach is central to the vision of a Viksit and Sashakt Bharat by 2047.

 

In his article, Mr Scindia said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India’s governance is being reshaped around dignity, opportunity and Jan Bhagidari. He added that the true measure of progress lies in what the government delivers and how it empowers every citizen to participate in nation-building.
