Rupee depreciates by 27 paise to close at 95.26 against US dollar

In the forex market today, the rupee depreciated by 27 paise to close at 95 rupees and 26 paise against the US dollar. The dollar index, which indicates US dollar's strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, was trading at 99.11 in intra-day trade.
