The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched an official WhatsApp communication channel for candidates appearing in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET-UG) re-examination scheduled to be held on Sunday. The NTA clarified that all official WhatsApp communications will be sent only through its verified account bearing the number +91 78 27 98 02 87.
The Agency advised candidates to verify the presence of the blue verification tick and the name “National Testing Agency” before trusting any message claiming to be sent from NTA. NTA also clarified that candidates who have already downloaded their admit cards for the 21st June re-examination do not need to download it again.
The Agency said that SMS, email, or WhatsApp messages are primarily being sent to students who have not yet downloaded their new admit cards. It further stated that the admit cards issued for the 3rd May examination will not be valid for the re-examination, as many candidates have been allotted new centres in their preferred cities.
