A special court in Kolkata has remanded 15 more individuals to National Investigation Agency (NIA) custody till 5th June in connection with the attack on judicial officers in Mothabari, Malda. The accused were arrested during a series of raids conducted by the central agency in Mothabari and its adjoining areas late Monday night.

 

During the court proceedings, the NIA submitted two case diaries regarding the matter. According to NIA sources, the suspects were identified by analysing CCTV footage from the day of the incident alongside various video clips that went viral on social media. The agency has also confiscated 15 mobile phones from the possession of the arrested individuals for further investigation.
