Ireland beat India by 34 runs in first T20 International in Belfast

In Men’s Cricket, Ireland defeated India by 34 runs in the first T20 International of the two-match series in Belfast last night. This is Ireland’s first victory over India in any format. Chasing 183 for victory, India were bundled out for 148 with 6 balls to spare.

Earlier, put into bat, Ireland scored 182 for 9 in stipulated 20 overs. Matthew Hollard picked up 3 wickets by giving away 28 runs. He was adjudged player of the match. The second and final T20 International of the series will be played tomorrow.
