NFDC to organise BRICS WAVES Bazaar in Mumbai on 6th and 7th August 

The National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting will organise the BRICS WAVES Bazaar in Mumbai on 6th and 7th of this month. The event will bring together over 500 delegates from BRICS member and partner countries, representing governments, industry bodies, producers, broadcasters, OTT platforms, technology companies, startups, investors, and creative enterprises.
 
The Bazaar aims to strengthen collaboration across the audiovisual and creative sectors by promoting dialogue, business engagement, knowledge exchange, and cross-border partnerships.
 
A key highlight will be the Creators’ Hub, showcasing startups, studios, technology providers, and creative enterprises. The event will also feature curated Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings to facilitate co-productions, content acquisition, technology partnerships, investment, and market expansion.
 
The BRICS WAVES Bazaar reflects India’s commitment to promoting the creative economy as a driver of innovation, entrepreneurship, employment, and economic growth, while fostering long-term trade, investment, and cultural collaboration among BRICS nations.
