Nagaland joined the nationwide rollout of the Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin), with the state Rural Development Department launching the programme at a state-level event in Kohima. Addressing the event, Commissioner and Secretary for Rural Development Thavaseelan K said the launch marks a significant milestone in the country’s efforts to build a Viksit Bharat and a Viksit Nagaland through empowered villages, resilient communities and sustainable economic growth. The state launch was attended by department officials, village functionaries and members of Self-Help Groups.
