Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav today joined students of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) at Chümoukedima for the nationwide launch of the Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan. The 100-week nationwide campaign against substance abuse was virtually launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today.

 

On the occasion, the Governor visited a poster exhibition prepared by NIT students to promote awareness against drug abuse. Appreciating their creativity and commitment, he urged the students to become ambassadors of the campaign and spread the message of a drug-free society. Governor Yadav also joined the live telecast of the Prime Minister’s address.

 

Faculty members, students and staff of NIT Nagaland reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the campaign through sustained awareness and youth-led initiatives.
