Manipur Governor Sushri Anusuiya Uikey has condemned the killing of two innocent students by suspected armed militants. Governor also condemned the excess of the security forces against students who were protesting the killing of their two peers. The Governor visited the families of the bereaved students today and interacted with the family members. She expressed her condolences and termed the killing of the innocent students as barbaric and action of the armed miscreants a heart-wrenching event.

The two students were reported missing since 6th of July.
