Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will lay the foundation stone for the ‘Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Smart Industrial Park’ today in Satgarhi, Bhopal. This will be an important milestone in the state’s industrial growth journey. Around 200 top industrialists, investors and industry representatives from across the country and the state will attend the event.
The Smart Industrial Park will be spread over about 173 acres. It will become a new hub for industrial growth in Bhopal and nearby areas. It will have modern industrial infrastructure, IT and AI-based facilities and a logistics and warehousing complex. The project will be based on a ‘work-live-grow’ model. It will host high-value manufacturing, garments, toys, IT, and AI-related industries. The project is expected to create more than 15,000 direct and indirect jobs. Youth from Bhopal and nearby areas will especially benefit from this.
A key feature of the project will be a world-class convention and exhibition centre. Spread over about 25 acres, it will have a capacity of more than 10,000 people. It will host national and international investor summits and industrial exhibitions.
