In Jammu and Kashmir, three people from Haryana were killed and two others injured after their car collided head-on with a bus near Nagrota on the outskirts of Jammu city late last night. The accident occurred near Jagti when the car, carrying five passengers, was travelling towards Jammu.

All the occupants of the car sustained critical injuries and were rushed to Government Medical College Hospital in Jammu. Later, three of them succumbed to their injuries. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed grief at the loss of lives and directed authorities to ensure the best possible treatment for the injured.
