In Jammu and Kashmir, the historic Mughal Road was reopened for traffic yesterday after being shut for more than three months due to heavy snowfall. Our Correspondent reports that the 84-kilometre stretch links the Shopian district in north Kashmir with Rajouri and Poonch in the Jammu region. For now, only passenger vehicles will be allowed in one direction, from Poonch to Kashmir, from 10 AM to 3 PM daily.
