For the Rajya Sabha elections to two seats from Jharkhand, JMM candidate Baidyanath Ram, Congress candidate Pranav Jha, and Independent candidate Parimal Nathwani filed their nomination papers in Ranchi.
Baidyanath Ram filed his nomination in the presence of Chief Minister Hemant Soren and leaders of the ruling alliance, while Congress nominee Pranav Jha also submitted his papers with the support of alliance leaders.
Independent candidate Parimal Nathwani, after filing his nomination, reiterated his commitment to working for the development of Jharkhand and the welfare of tribal communities. The NDA has extended its support to Parimal Nathwani.
Political activity has intensified ahead of the Rajya Sabha polls, with all parties gearing up to ensure the victory of their respective candidates.
